Description

The U.S. Department of State’s Mission to Portugal announces a limited competition solicitation for American Corners in Portugal to apply for FY2026 American Spaces Operational Funding. Funds will primarily support the operational needs of the Corners, including design and furnishings that showcase an American look and feel, resources and supplies, technology, internet, mission's programmatic and management oversight, and in-country American Spaces Coordinator meetings. Funds will also support the development and implementation of strategic programming at the American Corners in Portugal, showcasing the United States as a leader in innovation, freedom of expression and economic power. Programming funds will also support Freedom 250 activities that increase public understanding of the principles that have shaped the United States over the past 250 years, through visible, audience-centered and customized initiatives.
